Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a long-term autoimmune disorder that may affect the skin, joints, kidneys, brain, and other organs.
SLE is much more common in women than men. It may occur at any age, but appears most often in people between the ages of 10 and 50. African Americans and Asians are affected more often than people from other races.

Those with Lupus have noticed:
Symptoms vary from person to person, and may come and go. Almost everyone with SLE has joint pain and swelling. Some develop arthritis. Frequently affected joints are the fingers, hands, wrists, and knees.
Other common issues reported:
Chest pain when taking a deep breath, Fatigue, Fever with no other cause, Hair loss, Mouth sores, Sensitivity to sunlight, Swollen lymph nodes, Skin rash — (a “butterfly” rash over the cheeks and bridge of the nose affects about half of people with SLE. The rash gets worse in sunlight. The rash may also be widespread), General discomfort, uneasiness, or ill feeling.

Other issues depend on what part of the body is affected:
Brain and nervous system: headaches, numbness, tingling, seizures, vision problems, personality changes
Digestive tract: abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting
Heart: abnormal heart rhythms
Lung: coughing up blood and difficulty breathing
Skin: patchy skin color, fingers that change color when cold
Some patients only have skin conditions. This is called discoid lupus.

Initial Cleanse
The Life Long Vitality supplements are a must. Start taking them as soon as possible.
Do the GX Assist and the PB Assist in a protocol of 10 days GX, 5 days PB, wait 10 days and repeat, wait 10 days and repeat. Wait two months and repeat again. This is a cleanse specifically designed for auto immune disease.
Drop 2-3 drops of Frankincense under the tongue 4 times a day for two weeks.

Ongoing Support
Continue the Lifelong Vitality supplements
Morning: Rub 1-2 drop of Balance Oil Blend on bottoms of feet
Make a blend of equal parts: Elevation Oil Blend, On Guard Oil Blend and Balance Oil Blend and apply 1-2 drops on adrenal glands, under the arms, and back of neck.
Take 3-4 drops each of OnGuard Oil Blend, Lemongrass Oil and Marjoram Oil in a capsule
During the day: Add 1-3 drops of Lemon Oil to each glass of water. (drink lots of water-use glass containers ONLY)
Evening: Apply 2-3 drops each of Frankincense Oil and Balance Oil Blend to the bottoms of the feet.

Symptom Specific Support
Digestive issues:
Rub 3-4 drops of DigestZen Oil Blend over abdomen and/or add to daily capsules.

Rub 3-4 drops of Breathe Oil Blend over chest and/or nose daily

Arthritis issues:
Apply Deep Blue Rub to area of concern each morning, at least once mid-day and anytime extreme pain occurs.

Diffuse Elevation Oil Blend during the day for energy and Serenity Oil Blend at night for relaxation
Gargle with mix of 2-4 drops of On Guard Oil Blend with water
Avoid processed food (especially white flour & sugar) and eat more organic fruits & vegetables.

Have the following “Spine Therapy” done once a week:
First apply coconut oil (olive oil can be substituted) along the length of the spine.
Then, Drop any 2 or all of the following doTerra essential oils down the spine:
Starting with Oregano, then Balance, On Guard, Frankincense, Rosemary, Marjoram, Aroma Touch… and end with Peppermint
Hot compress for 15 mins after you lightly massage into back along the spine area
